Anonymous asked: what inspired you to take more of an interest in exercise- and what sort of routine have you made yourself at the gym?
I don’t actually remember that well. My college requires you to take a weekly activity, so I figured I might as well join the college gym since it’s free, but I didn’t really get into it properly at first. We only have to go for half an hour a week so that was all I did (and half heartedly, to be honest). I think maybe I started looking at fitness blogs and realising that looking after my body was something I wanted to do, and now it’s quite an important part of my life. That probably sounds silly, but I love just putting on my music and exercising- it’s so good for the soul! My mood is a bit temperamental lately and I find exercising regularly helps a lot with that too :)
When I’m there I tend to be a treadmill junkie, haha, just because I find it the most fun and interesting. I also use the bikes a fair amount, and some of the weights too. I also workout at home with boxercise, dancing, skipping, aerobics and weight training. -
Although, on the bright side of things, my copy of Twin magazine and Kate Moss by Mario Testino came in the post today. I won’t be able to read them for a few days because of work, but it’s nice to just have them.
